Katie Holmes and Al Pacino team up with Adam Sandler
Adam Sandler used to be the bee's knees back in the nineties. Sadly, those feelings aren't quite as prevalent these days, and really only come back in the few daring roles he takes on.
His latest project, JACK AND JILL, isn't one of those roles, but it does have a pretty interesting cast attached to it.
Both Katie Holmes and Al Pacino will be in the film as part of the supporting cast. Holmes will be taking up the role of Sandler's wife, and Pacino will be playing himself. Pacino playing himself is a pretty interesting aspect, but it's likely they will go overly cheesy with the role.
Sandler will be playing both the role of both Jack and his twin sister Jill. A pretty gimmicky move for the film, but it's kind of expected. "Gimmicky" explains Adam Sandler movies to their very core, which was one of the more interesting aspects that was looked at in FUNNY PEOPLE.
Regardless of the fears built up for the project, the general public still really enjoys Adam Sandler movies and they usually end up financial successes. This is likely to be another one of those.
