Keanu confirms Cowboy Bebop
Cowboy Bebop, one of the best and most popular manga and anime of all time,and definitely one of my favorites, is being adapted into a film. MTV recently spoke with Keanu and he eloquently confirmed,"Oh yeah, cool...we’re trying to do that." Keanu also spoke a little about the direction that is going to be taken in the adaptation of the space-western he said, "It’s got a Western quality, a Western film noir aspect to it" and he went on to say about what attracted him to the original anime saying, "It’s got so much style to it, and that’s part of its appeal. That kind of Old West, bordertown, low-tech science fiction aspect." I for one am quite excited about the prospect of this film as long as it doesn't end up like SPEED RACER.
