Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene are TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN hold outs

Kellen Lutz Ashley Greene

I'd hate to be the one standing between the people and their TWILIGHT.  You're likely to get torn limb from limb by a rabid tween if that were the case.  And TWILIGHT stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene may be putting themselves in harm's way.  The pair, who play some of the Cullen gang, are delaying the contract negotiation for the fifth film in THE TWILIGHT SAGA for more money.

After the first film's success, the stars were all signed on for three more films.  But then came the decision to split the final book, Breaking Dawn, into two films and thus began the cash grab.  Since Twilight, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner have all become huge stars and this news wouldn't be so shocking if it were one of them gumming up the works for more money.

But it's not.  And as we've seen before with the replacement of Rachelle Lafevre, some actors can be replaced.  According to Collider, a source told them, “We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point.” Yikes!  Hopefully it's not Ashley.  Alice is my favorite of the Cullen gang and it'd be hard for me to warm up to another actress.

Lutz and Greene aren't hurting for work these days.  Lutz can currently be seen in the A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake and has been cast in IMMORTALS with Mickey Rourke.  Greene will next be seen in THE APPARITION co-starring Sebastian Stan.

Bill Condon will direct both parts of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN.
