Kristen Stewart is going ON THE ROAD
Kristen Stewart did her best to keep her next role under wraps, but that restraint appears to have lasted for all of five seconds, or about one sentence. USA Today caught up with Stewart in Chicago, where the star opened up about her next gig:
"I am very much attached to a movie that has been trying to get made forever. Not that this is going to help it, but maybe I can just brag a little bit. I am super excited about it, too. I am about to play Marylou in ON THE ROAD. So that's a big deal."
It is indeed a big deal. Francis Ford Coppola wanted to make ON THE ROAD, Gus Van Sant also tried, but both were unsuccessful at getting their projects off the ground. This time, though, things seem to be moving ahead, at least for now, and as Joshua pointed out previously, production could start soon, with Garrett Hedlund as Dean Moriarty and THE MOTORCYCLE DIARIES' Walter Salles directing.
