WB may be putting much of their focus on the upcoming finale to Chris Nolan’s Batman film trilogy, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, there are some interesting happenings in the world of Superman and WB’s MAN OF STEEL.

Moviehole is reporting that Jonah Nolan has had his turn at polishing up David Goyer’s script for the upcoming Zack Snyder film, and that Kurt Johnstad is currently doing the same thing. Johnstad and Snyder are buddies, having worked on both 300 and the upcoming prequel, 300: BATTLE OF ARTEMISIA  He also wrote THE LAST PHOTOGRAPH, a film based on an idea from Snyder.

Personally, while I’m not too keen on a collection of writers having their way with a script, the fact that it appears to be all writers from in house (either Nolan or Snyder projects) is definitely good news. I’m a huge fan of both Nolan and Snyder, and if these re-writes mean that the film will actually have a good script, then whatever needs to happen is great in my book.
