LAST EXORCISM director finds his next gig with next entry in Shyamalan’s NIGHT CHRONICLES
With the M. Night Shyamalan-produced DEVIL getting its release this Friday, a timely announcement surrounding the second entry in his NIGHT CHRONICLES series surfaces. Hot off his success with THE LAST EXORCISM, Deadline is reporting that director Daniel Stamm will direct REINCARNATE, with a script from screenwriter Chris Sparling, who is about to have his own hit thriller on his hands with BURIED.
The story centers around a jury that find themselves inflicted by supernatural forces as the fate of an accused murderer hangs in their balance. Hopefully, it will be at least half as good as the courtroom scene from GHOSTBUSTERS II. With Shyamalan producing, it could be twice as funny...unintentionally.
EXORCISM producer Eli Roth had these congratulatory words, confirming Stamm's involvement. "Congratulations to #LastExorcism director @StammDaniel on his next gig, REINCARNATE, the new Night Chronicles film!!"
