Lea Michelle joins NEW YEAR’S EVE; Justin Bieber, Zac Efron, Reese Witherspoon, and Halle Berry rumored to join
Apparently Garry Marshall wasn’t joking when announcing a semi-sequel to this year’s rather deplorable VALENTINE'S DAY.
According to E! Online (who is the perfect outlet to give you a sense of what type of film we’re dealing with here), Glee starlet Lea Michelle will be joining the cast of the upcoming film, NEW YEAR'S EVE, with Marshall looking at Reese Witherspoon, Zac Efron, Halle Berry and in the "Taylor Swift role" from VALENTINE'S DAY, Justin Bieber. EVE will follow similar ground to its predecessor, following various people and their lives during New Year's Eve.
Personally, while I wasn’t a fan of VALENTINE'S DAY at all, I am a big fan of Lea Michelle, who still proves to be one of the best aspects of Glee, a show that I think has seen much better days. Other than that, this film sounds like one I can’t wait to skip. Berry gives the film a bit of credibility, but the addition of Efron and Bieber could truly damn this film, especially Efron, who has been trying to leave this type of film for a while now.
