TIFF and Fantastic Fest are rapidly approaching (kicking off on September 9th and 23rd, respectively), which means screening announcements will be rolling out within the next few weeks. We've already seen an incredible line-up for TIFF and now Fantastic Fest is starting to release more titles.

Today it was announced that the American remake of the Swedish vampire film LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, titled LET ME IN, will be opening Fantastic Fest and screening at TIFF.

LET ME IN showed some footage at this year's Comic-Con and garnered a lot of positive buzz. A heavy number of people (including myself) were a bit disappointed when this remake was announced, but as soon as the casting was announced, my little hopeful tentacles sprung up.

If you've been to Fantastic Fest before, then you probably agree this is a perfect opening. Made by genre fans for genre fans, Fantastic Fest is rapidly growing as one of the top festivals to attend.

Look for our coverage of both festivals, coming as the fests open.
