BURIED just premiered at Sundance the other day to rave reviews (in fact, you can see ours HERE). I don't know too much about the film since I haven't seen it yet, but I think it is better that way. I'd much rather be surprised when I do.

Luckily, Lionsgate has picked the film up for distribution, so it will be heading our way in no time.

Supposedly the distribution deal is valued at somewhere from 3 to 4 million dollars, and it will include a significant marketing campaign. With Ryan Reynolds and the buzz the film is currently getting, it should easily be a big success. It is the second high profile made at this year's Sundance, the first was Paramount's purchase of WAITING FOR SUPERMAN late last week.

I'm really pleased about this news, and I can't wait until BURIED is released in theaters. Between BURIED and HAPPYTHANKYOUMOREPLEASE, it looks like there is a lot of great stuff coming out at this year's Sundance.
