That’s right, James Franco on a dance track.

For a while now, actor/grad student/artist/writer/director/bad ass/Oscar host/musician/Oscar nominee James Franco has been working with artist Kalup Linzy on a music project, and finally, we have a bit of what has come of this apparently wonderful partnership.

The track is called “I Love You,” and while you may scoff at the idea of Franco getting on a track with one of NYC’s most beloved performance artists, the track itself actually kind of kills. It’s a bit of a joke, and while it may sound a bit cheap and lo-fi, I do absolutely adore this song. It’s fun, and hey, for a good Valentine’s Day jam, you could do much, much worse.

The two recently scored the Cynthia Rowley show at New York Fashion Week, so apparently Franco is getting a bit of love from his NY art crowd brethren. Personally, this is going to sound awesome coming out of my car. Listen to the track HERE.
