LITTLE FOCKERS drags in Dustin Hoffman for reshoots
A couple months ago we got our first trailer for LITTLE FOCKERS - the third installment to the MEET THE PARENTS trilogy. The most baffling thing outside of its existence was the lack of Dustin Hoffman. Well, if you were worried that LITTLE FOCKERS would be too serious without him, it looks like Hoffman will be included in the pick-up shoots for the film. The information comes from NY Magazine's Vulture Blog, fitting since I might need to have vultures pick my eyes out to get through LITTLE FOCKERS.
LITTLE FOCKERS is directed by Paul Weitz and stars the usual Fockers - Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Owen Wilson, and Teri Polo. I have zero interest in seeing this film after watching the trailer, mostly because I liked MEET THE PARENTS and find MEET THE FOCKERS to be one long penis joke centered around a one-note name joke that came during the third act of MEET THE PARENTS. Maybe some people will find Dustin Hoffman's involvement reassuring, but I simply do not. Here's to mediocrity!
