Marisa Tomei, Thomas Haden Church, Allison Janney, and Alec Baldwin join LUCKY THEM
Marisa Tomei (THE LINCOLN LAWYER), Thomas Haden Church (EASY A), Allison Janney (AMERICAN BEAUTY), and Alec Baldwin (THE DEPARTED) have signed on to star in comedy-drama, LUCKY THEM.
LUCKY THEM, which was originally pitched as a TV series seven years ago, centers on a rock journalist who is assigned to track down her ex-boyfriend.
Writer/director Huck Botko, whose past credits include THE LAST EXORCISM and THE VIRGINITY HIT, is attached to direct from a script penned in collaboration with actress Emily Wachtel (REGARDING HENRY).
Joanna Woodward, who took over when husband Paul Newman (BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID) passed away, will produce.
Production is set to take place in New York City later this year.
