While the film is not quite taking the awards world by storm like many people originally thought, it looks as though two members of the team behind THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT are set to reteam.

The Daily Mail is reporting that actor Mark Ruffalo and writer Stuart Blumberg, who co-wrote the film’s script, will team for a new film, THANKS FOR SHARING. Blumberg wrote the film’s screenplay, which follows three sex addicts, and it will be the writer’s directorial debut, with Ruffalo taking on one of the lead roles.

Personally, while I found the finale of KIDS to be a bit poorly done, it was easily one of the past year’s funniest features, partially because of how great that script was. This sounds like a really compelling project, so hopefully we will find out more about it relatively soon. The premise sounds quite interesting, and knowing Blumberg’s previous works, this could prove to be both a narratively compelling and genuinely comedic picture. Ruffalo doesn’t hurt to have as a lead either, though.
