Marvel Shorts

I've always enjoyed short films. Many people look down on the medium, believing that it's only for directors who lack the talent to direct feature length films. This of course, couldn't be farther from the truth, but that's a conversation for another time. Most audiences get their short film fix most commonly from animation titans, Pixar. The practice is practical and enjoyable. The shorts are always beautifully done and of course, they have to added benefit of warming the crowd up before the movie. Now Latino Review is reporting rumors that, like a few others, Marvel may be jumping on the short film bandwagon.

You've read correctly, ladies and gents. Marvel may be developing short films to introduce lesser known characters to the public. The characters included in this group include the likes of Dr. Strange, Luke Cage and Black Panther. Would Marvel not have already made a GHOST RIDER flick, the character's name would most likely join the list. The shorts, were they to happen would most likely be akin to Pixar shorts, in that they would play before Marvel motion pictures.

As noted before, Pixar is beginning to bring back the trend. Warner Brothers is planning on including a Looney Tunes short in front of many, if not all of their new films. Marvel films would be the first live action films to join the bunch. An interesting development. Though only a rumor for now, this one sounds like it could actually hold water, so fingers crossed.
