Matt Lucas is Tweedledee and Tweedledum
Tim Burton’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND continues to attract great talent. Last week it was Johnny Depp and this week its been announced that British comedian Matt Lucas will be playing Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the creepy twin brothers from the Lewis Carroll books and from the Disney adaptation. Matt Lucas currently stars in the great BBC sketch comedy show ‘Little Britain’ and the HBO version ‘Little Britain USA’, and anyone who has seen him playing characters on those shows understands why his casting is absolutely dead on! There’s even a bit of a physical resemblance, just look at the picture above. Switched at birth? I think so. If Tim Burton can keep this up, this movie will be brilliant!
