Meme-movie THE CHRONICLES OF RICK ROLL gives the Internet cancer
I wish I could say that we all saw this coming, but I was just too optimistic to believe it would actually happen. It seems that despite our best attempts, the Internet has cancer, or at least an STD or something. It doesn't really matter what deadly disease the Internet has contracted, just know that it goes by the name of THE CHRONICLES OF RICK ROLL.
For years now, we've been sitting down to 4Chan and shelling out nonsense and porn onto its pages and this, I believe, was the start of it all. 4Chan and YouTube tried their best to not contract a disease, but the sheer volume of asinine nonsense filling their metaphorical organs became too much and it threw up a clear sign that the Internet is dying.

You may actually have to take a shot of penicillin after watching this.
I'm sorry you had to watch that, but it serves as an important medical landmark. Despite what science has been telling us for years, non-living things can definitely still die. My hope is that even though there exists an entire film full of desperate, depressing, and overall terrifying people collecting a small paycheck for their imaginary fame, the Internet can still recover. All we have to do is stop posting videos of our cats burping or putting the celebrity-of-the-minute in a bright box and adding ironic text and the Internet should recover. In the meantime, it's probably best if we just give it some space and read a book.
THE CHRONICLES OF RICK ROLL does not yet have a release date, but you can check your nightmares for updates.
