Christopher Nolan's MEMENTO re-released

What a difference a decade makes.

Ten years ago, I wandered into a local theater to see a film called MEMENTO; it had an interesting trailer, and I figured there are worse ways to spend a couple hours. I ended up loving the film, and started paying attention to this then unheard-of British director named Christopher Nolan.

Fast forward ten years, and MEMENTO has jumpstarted the career of one of Hollywood’s most famous and bankable directors. Every picture Nolan has made after MEMENTO has grossed over 100 million worldwide, and his last two (THE DARK KNIGHT and INCEPTION) have grossed a lofty sum of nearly two billion combined.

It is only fitting that the film that announced Nolan as a force to be reckoned with is returning to select theaters for a special one night screening, complete with new footage. Eleven select digital theaters throughout the U.S. and Canada will screen the film on February 17, followed by a never-before-seen Q&A with Guillermo Del Toro dishing out the questions to Nolan. If MEMENTO isn’t screening in your city, fear not; the film is being re-released on Blu-ray as well on February 22.

How do you think MEMENTO compares to Nolan’s other films?
