Within a month of the King of Pop's passing in June, it was announced that the world would be getting a concert film comprised of the last footage of Michael Jackson preparing for his final tour. The tour was called the "This Is It" tour, and the film took on the now sadly tinged title. MICHAEL JACKSON'S THIS IS IT will be available in theaters for a limited two week engagement, starting on Wednesday, October 28. The film is said to provide a raw and intimate look at Jackson's preparations for his final string of gigs.

Hit the jump to see how you can be one of the first to see THIS IS IT in cities all over the world.

To appease MJ's huge worldwide fanbase, Sony Pictures Entertainment is set to host over 25 global premieres of the film, including 15 premieres coordinated to occur simultaneously after the film's red carpet events on Tuesday, October 27 in Los Angeles. Some of the coordinated premiere events will be held in New York City, Rio De Janeiro, London, Berlin, Johannesburg, and Seoul. These special advanced screenings will begin three hours after the 6PM festivities in Los Angeles. That means that the MJ fans in London will get to take in the film at 4AM.

Tickets for the film, including for the advance screenings in applicable cities, will be available to buy this Sunday, September 27. You can use your favorite ticketing site, or go directly to the film's site to buy. I pray we don't have another AVATAR Day ticketing fiasco on our hands.

Last week, James showed you the trailer, which you can check out HERE, in case you want to get a fuller feel of film.
