Mike Mills has two of his BEGINNERS
Both Ewan McGregor and Christopher Plummer have signed on to appear in director Mike Mills' new film, BEGINNERS. Unfortunately, no plot synopsis has been released yet for the film, which also means we don't know anything about the characters that will be played by the two.
Mills previously wrote the screenplay for and directed the indie coming-of-age movie, THUMBSUCKER. I have met many that loved THUMBSUCKER, but the film fell short for Rusty Gordon (me). It seemed to try too hard to be off-beat, and was surprisingly boring. However, I appear to be in the minority as THUMBSUCKER is 71 percent Fresh over at Rotten Tomatoes - so take that!...me?
BEGINNERS is set to start shooting next month, so hopefully that fairly soon shooting date means we will be getting some plot and character details soon on the project.
