If you’re a MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE fan like I am, you are without a doubt dying of anticipation for the Brad Bird-directed sequel MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL. Brad Bird getting in the director’s chair has led to renewed fan interest, as he is truly a phenomenal director.

Now we are hearing that the film is getting another exciting step in the right direction, as it will feature scenes shot in IMAX.

We all remember when THE DARK KNIGHT did it, its sweeping cityscapes filling up the entire screen. With a filmmaker like Bird in charge, I’m sure we can expect the same quality that Christopher Nolan gave us. It also lends credence to chatter that film will get an IMAX release, as many studio films that go to IMAX aren’t shot with the cameras.

It seems that they are putting a lot of thought into the production of the new film, hoping to win back the audience that didn’t seem to get the third film in the franchise. So far, they have succeeded in appeasing me, have they successfully won you back?
