I've you have ever been to Austin's Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar, you have probably walked by Mondo Teesand not even noticed it (shame on you). The small shop sits in the corner of the entrance to the South Lamar Alamo Drafthouse where they sell movie goods, namely shirts and posters.

Now is the time to start noticing.

Although Mondo Tees has been selling posters for years, a recent series has started turning fanboys' heads. Since June, Mondo has teamed up with Lucas Film LTD to release 22 STAR WARS themed posters. The newest one, titled "Luke's Destiny" (pictured above) is the 11th poster in the series and was released yesterday (selling out 360 copies in under 20 minutes).

Mondo only reveals what day the posters will be released, wisely leaving out the time. This tactic leaves fans refreshing their internet browsers every few minutes in fear of missing out on these rare collector's items. So far there has been a wide variety of posters, including two sets of bounty hunters, planet landscapes ("Dawn of Tattooine,
"Hoth"), Yoda in "Great Warrior," and Jabba's "Palace."

The STAR WARS completists now have more to celebrate, because Mondo has elected to also make available posters from lesser known characters in the universe such as a Tusken Raider, Salacious Crumb, and a scrap yard power droid.

Make sure to check out Mondo's blog to find out when posters will be released, and if it comes down to it, I will lightsaber duel you for the last one.
