Motion poster for Elizabeth Olsen starring SILENT HOUSE amps up the scares

The Sundance hit arrives in limited release on October 21

Rarely do remakes attract quite as much attention, particularly the positive kind, as the upcoming remake of LA CASA MUDA, better known as the impending horror film SILENT HOUSE.

Starring indie darling Elizabeth Olsen, the film follows a “young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family's secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house.” And now, thanks to the crew over at Brigade, it’s got itself a new motion poster, in anticipation of its March 9th debut.

As a huge fan of the film’s “gimmick” (it’s shot in real time), this is easily one of the more interesting horror pieces in some time.  I think that Olsen is one of the best up and coming actresses around, so everything seems to be looking up for this project.  The poster debuted exclusively over at Moviefone, but you can check it out below!

I’ve heard this is really good and it fixes one of the problems contained in the original. Seeing it next week!
