Naomie Harris joins BOND 23; Bardem and Fiennes confirmed
After kickstarting her career thanks to Danny Boyle and his film 28 DAYS LATER, Naomie Harris has gone on to join some of the bigger films Hollywood has to offer, including two PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN films and MIAMI VICE. However, this may be her biggest role yet.
The Daily Mail is reporting (via The Playlist) that Harris will take on the role of Moneypenny in the upcoming BOND 23. The casting has been rumored for a few weeks now, but with this news also comes the confirmation that both Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes have been confirmed for their respective roles.
All three additions make this Sam Mendes-directed project one of the biggest around, and also one of the most star studded. Bardem will be the film’s villain with Fiennes taking on a “darkly complex” role, both of which sound perfect for the actors in question. Harris is also a perfect fit for the role of Moneypenny, proving that this Craig-led take on the character is becoming one of the more interesting franchises the film world has to offer.
