Never Mind the Bollocks, here’s the world’s smallest solar-powered movie theatre
The British are clever and adorable. They’ve just created the the world’s smallest solar-powered (mobile) movie theatre. Comfortably seating up to eight people, The Sol Cinema has a developing library full of twenty minute comedies, indie flicks, music videos, and environmental themed short films. This is made possible by the use of lithium batteries (stores energy), photovoltaic panels (tames the energy), and an LED projector. The Sol Cinema also has an usher (technically an usherette) to seat and bring the guests food and popcorn. No word yet on whether or not a recycling Hobbit came up with this idea.
How awesome is this? Hit the break to see more stills of The Sol Cinema and a video from iTV.com.
