New Alamo Drafthouse “No Talking” pre-show video involves an obnoxiously pissed off texting customer
One of the most comforting things the Alamo Drafthouse is known for is the passion the company carries for making sure their customers have the best movie-watching experience possible. Before each show, there is an announcement letting the moviegoers know that it's not cool to talk or text during the movie. You talk, you text, you tweet, your ass will be kicked out. Sometimes a few bad seeds fall through the cracks and do not abide by that rule; that's when the Drafthouse employees step in and kick the rebellious idiots out.
To show how dedicated they are, the Drafthouse has uploaded their lastest "No Talking" pre-show video which involves the voicemail of an actual customer (from the Magnited States of America) who got kicked out for texting during a movie. I got the pleasure of seeing this for the first time on the big screen during last night's Rolling Roadshow screening of BLOOD SIMPLE. This just goes to show how badass of a company founder Tim League has built. Bravo, dude.
