New character posters for GREEN LANTERN
When we saw the first trailer for GREEN LANTERN, it's fair to say that most of us were a little disappointed. It looked almost like it was marketing an unfinished film. But then we got a four-minute Wondercon trailer that blew most people away, making this comic book adaptation look really promising.
These brand new character posters also help with the hype of what this summer may bring us. Check out new character posters for Sinestro and Kilowog after the break.
The first poster here is of Mark Strong playing Sinestro, and it looks great; if you have read any of the comics, Sinestro is a purple-skinned guy. This could have easily translated into a cheesy-looking character, but the effects team have done a really good job at making him look really good.
The next poster is of Kilowog, who is entirely CG and will be voiced by Michael Clarke Duncan.
For those who may not know what GREEN LANTERN is about, the comic book adaptation is about "a test pilot [who] is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe."
Everyone should go see this when it opens on June 17.
