COWBOYS AND ALIENS trailer

The more I see from this film the more excited I get, and this trailer does in fact deliver even more excitement.

In this trailer, we get our first glimpse at an actual alien from the film - well, a hand at least. Another great thing about this is the peek at the huge scope of the film, from the small town to the desert scenes and even further out, possibly to a "mother ship." Oh, and of course the great action and really well-done special effects. Head on over to Apple Trailers to see the new trailer for COWBOYS & ALIENS.

Of course if you have not seen any trailers or news on this film, the plot goes as follows:

"Set in 1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger (Craig) with no memory of his past awakens in the town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist.  What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don't welcome strangers, and the town is run by Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford) and he is the one who keeps it that way. But this desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky, to abduct the helpless one by one, these monsters challenge everything the residents have ever known. Now, the stranger they rejected is their only hope for salvation. As this gunslinger slowly starts to remember who he is and where he's been, he realizes he holds a secret that could give the town a fighting chance against the alien force. With the help of the elusive traveler Ella (Olivia Wilde who looks gorgeous by the way), he pulls together a posse comprised of former opponents--townsfolk, Dolarhyde and his boys, outlaws and Apache warriors--all in danger of annihilation. United against a common enemy, they will prepare for an epic showdown for survival."
