The release of FINAL DESTINATION 5 is just around the corner at this point, and surprisingly, the film doesn't look nearly as bad as the last couple of films in the franchise war. Whether it be the lack of Nascar or the cast who seems to really be into the film, it seems like the franchise may very well might be back on the right track with this latest entry. Don't believe me? Check out the trailer.

Now we are getting a new poster to feast our eyes on, until the film hits theaters on August 12. Check it out after the break.

Although the skull adds that level of familiarity that I really don't want from the franchise, it kind of is their thing, so it can be overlooked. I do like that the skull is part of a road however, as the lynch-pin of the entire film is a bridge collapse, which the main characters initially avoid. They can't avoid death for too long however, or else we wouldn't have a franchise.

I didn't see the last few films in theaters, but I have a hunch I'll probably make it out for this one. Worse comes to worst, It'll be a bloody good time. What do you guys think?
