New French AVATAR poster
The French are really with it these days. Yesterday, they gave us a new WOLFMAN poster, and now they have a brand-new AVATAR poster for our perusal. Merci!
As a film geek, saying I am not completely and totally enthralled by the prospect of James Cameron’s AVATAR is basically heresy. But I can’t shy from my opinions, so here it is – I am not completely and totally enthralled by the prospect of James Cameron’s AVATAR. Yet, the more I see new and extended versions of the trailer, and the more I check out production stills, the more I find myself anticipating its December 18 release date. I’m not totally sold, but I’m there. Now let’s look at a new poster!
Hit the jump to see the full poster, but be careful - you could lose yourself in Sam Worthington's dreamy iris (yes, singular).
This French poster also gives us a brand new tagline (en français, no less) – “Entrez dans le monde,” which basically means, “enter the world.” Bold! But, beyond that, this poster does provide much more to look at than the previous teaser poster (refresh your brain with it HERE). Star Sam Worthington’s face is juxtaposed next to our main N’avi (Neytiri, played by Zoe Saldana). Dualism! We also get a look at some of Pandora’s floating islands and other, non-N’avi inhabitants (they fly!).
Are you guys excited about AVATAR?
