Martin Scorsese’s SHUTTER ISLAND will finally see a theatrical release on February 19th. Collider got their hands on twenty new high-resolution images from the film, which features an all-star cast of Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Emily Mortimer, Patricia Clarkson, and Max von Sydow. In SHUTTER ISLAND, Leonardo DiCaprio plays Teddy Daniels, a U.S. marshal who is assigned to investigate the disappearance of a patient from Boston's Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital. Daniels has been pushing for an assignment on the island for personal reasons, but he soon comes to wonder if he hasn't been brought there as part of a twisted plot by the hospital's doctors who practice radical methods of treatments. Teddy's investigation is stalled because the hospital refuses to allow him access to records he suspects would break the case. When a hurricane cuts off communication with the mainland, and dangerous criminals escape, Teddy begins to doubt everything.
