The first of two character banners from Taylor Hackford's LOVE RANCH (courtesy of ComingSoon.net) feature Joe Pesci in full, out-and-out pimp mode! In the film, Pesci's character is one-half of the husband and wife team that owned and operated the first completely legal brothel in the state of Nevada during the late 1970s. Charlie (Joe Pesci) and Grace Bontempo (Helen Mirren) and their desert exploits are based on actual events that took place at the Mustang Ranch, but it is not known if the real Charlie and Grace actually dressed this badly.

Besides THE GOOD SHEPHERD (directed by pal Robert De Niro), this is the only film that Pesci has done in the last decade, and it looks like he's going to really shine in the role. At the very least, his alligator shoes definitely will.

LOVE RANCH also stars Gina Gershon, Taryn Manning, Scout Taylor-Compton, Elise Neal, and Bai Ling. One can infer that most (if not all) of these women are probably playing prostitutes (but the totally legal kind). This summer just got a lot hotter! Visit the film's Facebook page here.
