With 20 clips placed out into the ether and a cavalcade of new posters, stills, and even trailers hitting, some may be hitting the point of no return for the marketing revolving around the upcoming Terrence Malick film, THE TREE OF LIFE.

However, when you are a film that not only has had the production history that a film like this has had, but also features an intriguing plot, top notch cast, and apparently dinosaurs, the marketing machine can be given the benefit of the doubt. The latest bit of material from the film, hitting thanks to the Tumblr page Two Ways Through Life, is our first look at the latter subject in that above trio of points, and I must say, while it may not look like much, is does give us an interesting glimpse into the effects used.

After the start up of the film’s original site, of the same name as this page, the greatest aspect of the newly released scenes were the glimpses at what type of effects, and their quality, we would be dealing with here. Now, with the release of this still, we get that tenfold.  he effect here looks top-notch, and looks almost seamless with regards to its surroundings. Here’s to hoping that the film itself looks half this good.

Oh, and how can you go wrong with Malick and dinosaurs? Seems like a simple equation equaling something awesome if you ask me.
