The Thorn In The Heart

It’s not rare to get some new music videos. However, it’s newsworthy when they have the talent behind them that these two new videos do.

First, Wired (via The Playlist) has gotten a hold of the latest video for the band, The Living Sisters, and its helmed by none other than Michel Gondry. A split screen video, it follows a child’s birth, earthquakes and all. It’s a really fantastic little video and should make good on the promises Gondry has made in many of his films. THE GREEN HORNET may have had some rather apparent issues, but this is definitely a stunning little video.

Finally, R.E.M. has released a video for their song, “Uberlin” directed by Sam Taylor-Wood (NOWHERE BOY). Starring her main squeeze Aaron Johnson, the video is just one of many that the band will be releasing in correlation with their upcoming album, Collapse Into Now. James Franco, Lance Bangs, and Albert Maysles are just a few of the directors who will be helming videos for the album, making this quite an interesting little project.

Enjoy!
