New THE LAST AIRBENDER television spot rocks the metal element
I know there's no metal element in the LAST AIRBENDER universe, but just listen to the music behind this latest television promo for the upcoming release and you may agree it's time to add a fifth. This newest spot for M. Night Shyamalan's live-action take on the animated series ups the music to bring the rock. It's casting AIRBENDER in a much more action-y light, and I'm pleasantly surprised by it.
This new promo also features a closer look at someone sure to help bring in some cross-genre appeal - it's TWILIGHT's Jackson Rathbone! As Sokka, he's one of AIRBENDER's most important characters, but this is the longest look I've seen of him so far. Kate approves. Kate approves very much. Check out the new promo (and another special treat) after the break!
And if you really can't wait until July 2 to get your AIRBENDER fix, the film's official site is launching a fun new section - every week until the film opens, they will be unlocking a new Nation for you to explore on the site. This week - Water! Check it out HERE. If the website is any indication of the care that went into creating the world of the Benders, fans of the original show are in for a very special treat.
THE LAST AIRBENDER opens in 3D (and 2D!) on July 2.
