New title for Judd Apatow’s next comedy
There hasn't been much information out about Judd Apatow's next film, other than the release date. Coming Soon reports that a new title has landed for the upcoming project, though it hasn't been officially confirmed. The film will be a spin off of Apatow's 2007 film KNOCKED UP that follows Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann's characters, Pete and Debbie. The film will be titled THIS IS FORTY.
The film was originally being developed under the working title UNTITLED JUDD APATOW COMEDY. This will be the first film for Apatow since his 2009 film FUNNY PEOPLE. The film is slated for a release date of June 1, 2012 and will co-star Megan Fox.
I think that the time off between Apatow's FUNNY PEOPLE and this upcoming film will help get people excited about this film. For a while it seemed like we were on Apatow overload, and now that we've had a break, I'm ready for another Apatow comedy.
