It’s been almost a year since we showed you the stills from Kevin Munroe’s (TMNT) DYLAN DOG: DEAD OF NIGHT. Now we have the first official U.S. theatrical trailer for the film. There were previously some leaked promo versions of the trailer hanging around the Internet over the past several months, as well as some Italian-dubbed trailers that had been circulating, but this is the real deal.

The film is an adaptation of the popular Italian comic book series Dylan Dog created by Tiziano Sclavi. Brandon Routh, of SUPERMAN RETURNS and more recently of SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD, plays the title role in his third comic-to-movie adaption, and honestly, I hope he keeps on doing them. Routh plays Dylan Dog, a paranormal investigator in the Louisiana Bayou who is in charge of keeping all the monsters in the area in line. Anita Briem (THE TUDORS), Taye Diggs (CHICAGO), and Sam Huntington (FANBOYS) also star.

The film will hit theaters on April 29.
