It takes a hell of a lot for me to get excited for an animated film. Usually, it has to come from Pixar for me to actually see it in theaters; that, or it's got to have a great trailer.

The latter stipulation would be the reason I'm so stoked for RANGO, the newest film from Gore Verbinski. Thanks to Yahoo, we've got another trailer to enjoy. We saw the first trailer earlier this year, but this one does a great job of summarizing the plot and characters. Hit the jump for the video.

What more can I say? Johnny Depp does a great job at reprising his role as Hunter S. Thompson, even if it is unintentional, and the animation is interesting to say the least. Further, we get a much better sense of the voice cast which includes Bill Nighy, Timothy Olyphant, Isla Fisher, Ray Winstone, and Abigail Breslin. The only reservations I had after seeing the first trailer lay in the story, which this trailer adequately assuages.
