New TV spot for THE SOCIAL NETWORK hits the web

With the film set to make its premiere at the New York Film Festival, it looks like the marketing wheels behind the upcoming David Fincher film, THE SOCIAL NETWORK, are moving at a rapid pace.

A new one minute-long TV spot/short form trailer for the film has hit, and while I’m not the biggest fan of the use of Kanye West’s latest single, "Power," this is a really fantastic trailer. I dig the song on its own, but maybe it was just the stunning full-form trailer, and its use of the creepy choral rendition of Radiohead’s "Creep," but it really doesn’t do much for me.

However, what does do a lot for me is that this film looks completely and wholly David Fincher, something I didn’t quite expect. It features his stunning direction, some fantastic cinematography, and of course, there is his always particular and singular framing. Personally, I think this film looks like an absolute winner, and along with the really amazing screenplay penned by Aaron Sorkin, this is one film that I cannot wait for, especially with its great cast that includes Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, and Rashida Jones. Amazing. Check it out after the break.
