A few days ago the news came out that Danny Elfman's music was back in THE WOLFMAN. Universal Pictures had told MovieScore Magazine that Paul Haslinger was out and Elfman was in, but despite this solid source, I had my doubts, especially when you consider all the flip-flopping that has gone on on the set of the film and the fast-approaching release date.

The new poster for the movie put all my fears to rest. Although a high-resolution copy is not yet available, his name is clearly visible. At the bottom, where the cast and crew are credited, Elfman's name is listed at the beginning of the second line. Keep reading to see the full poster.

This new version seems to be all about star power. All the major actors are prominently featured at the top: Anthony Hopkins, Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt, and Hugo Weaving. This is something we really haven't seen in the minimalist American posters, which have been visually awesome, but don't have the mass commercial appeal of this one. Personally, I prefer the other ones.
