With INSIDIOUS becoming one of the year’s most profitable films, James Wan is making himself a spot right at the top of the Hollywood horror A-list once again.

However, he’s set to head back into the realm of the smaller budgeted fair, starting first with the upcoming film, SPECTRE.

Variety is reporting that Nicole Kidman is set to star in the upcoming film, which will be sold at this year’s upcoming Cannes Film Festival. Details are being held under strict lock and key, but it does look to be a really interesting move for the actress, who is hard at work on films like Joel Schumacher’s TRESPASS, and THE DANISH GIRL, with the latter seeming to have very little footing moving forward.

SPECTRE is set to have a budget of under $10 million, which is roughly 10x bigger than the budget he was given for INSIDIOUS. Hopefully this can be 10x the film, because if so, we are in for something insanely special. INSIDIOUS was a great film, so here’s to hoping that this one lives up to that potential.
