NSFW redband trailer for I LOVE YOU, PHILLIP MORRIS
I LOVE YOU, PHILLIP MORRIS has had one hell of a ride. Its release has been up in the air over the course of the last year, as it couldn't find a distributor, was troubled by legal issues, and the homosexual content worried studio execs.
And yet, despite all those setbacks, we're getting close to the actual release date for I LOVE YOU, PHILLIP MORRIS. As such, we've just received a fresh red band trailer for the flick. And boy, it sure is fresh. Check it out after the jump.
Before you watch this, there's some pretty NSFW imagery and dialogue in here. It's a red band trailer, through and through. However, if you're not burdened by cubicles or uptight coworkers, check this out. This trailer has piqued my interest more than any other marketing out of this film. It looks damn funny and it looks like we'll get to see Jim Carrey be funny outside the prototypical comedy.
The film follows Steven Russel, portrayed by Jim Carrey, who plays a con man who cheats and lies in order to maintain his flamboyant lifestyle. He's locked up for his crimes and meets Phillip Morris, a fellow gay man who has found himself behind bars. The cast looks pretty great and I can't wait to see how audiences receive this film.
I LOVE YOU, PHILLIP MORRIS hits theaters on December 3.
