Olivia Wilde to get crazy with Chris Pine in WELCOME TO PEOPLE
It has a phonetically odd title, stars Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks, and is the feature-length debut from writer Alex Kurtzman (STAR TREK) - which he co-wrote with frequent collaborator Roberto Orci and first timer Jody Lambert. So, if you weren't already interested in WELCOME TO PEOPLE, then perhaps the involvement of one Mrs. Olivia Wilde will pique you.
Wilde has joined the cast as the love interest in the family drama that centers around Pine as a man returning home after the death of his estranged father only to find that he has a sister (Banks) who is an alcoholic and a mother to a 12 year-old-boy.
Coincidentally, Wilde can next be seen in COWBOYS & ALIENS, co-written by none other than Kurtzman and Orci. The duo will produce PEOPLE under their Paper Products hood, set-up at DreamWorks. Production will commence this month in Los Angeles.
