Paramount sends cease and desist to Nuke the Fridge

Apparently the guys over at Nuke The Fridge were able to see the new teaser/trailer for Summer '09 movie G.I. JOE: RISE OF COBRA at a "test screening" and they subsequently posted a noxious "review" of the teaser/trailer essentially damning every witless aspect of the project. This really pissed off Paramount who "Late yesterday afternoon I received a “cease and desist” letter from Paramount’s attorneys saying that my review of their trailer was infringing on their copyright." Nuke The Fridge goes on to say "seems they [Paramount] thought I had signed a non-disclosure agreement, which I had NOT. At first we panicked a bit because we are new to this whole website business. But then I contacted an attorney and was informed of Title 17 U.S.C, Section 107 which states that I am fully in my constitutionally guaranteed first amendment rights to post reviews" Wow. So it comes to a surprise to some people that G.I. JOE: RISE OF COBRA doesn't look like it is going to be a good movie? Really? Honestly I'm not surprised, the teaser posters were along the line of the STREET FIGHTER and MORTAL KOMBAT movies, and I think that is the way this one is going to go-unfortunately for us. There is one thing Nuke The Fridge is wrong about (in my opinion) this movie is too late to save, its doomed, and a re-cut trailer is not going to help. So what to GATW readers think of all this hullabaloo?
