Apparently, director Paul Feig isn’t one to take much time off.

In between working on the upcoming feature film BRIDESMAIDS, as well as the finale of The Office, Feig has teamed up with not only Ford, but one hell of a collection of writers, for a new series of viral videos. Oh, and did I mention that they involve a puppet? Who doesn’t love puppets?

The shorts follow the exploits of Doug, “ a snarky, lady loving puppet who starts out as a YouTube hero and then becomes the official "spokespuppet" for the Ford Focus.”  With a team of writers including Rob Cohen (The Simpsons), Eric Leiderman (BORAT), Ken Daly (D List With Kathy Griffin), Donick Cary (The Simpsons), John Rosse Bowie (Reno 911) and Dave Reynolds (FINDING NEMO), these are actually quite funny and entertaining, and actually work quite well as little shorts. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of viral marketing, but for some reason, this just charmed the hell out of me. Check them out after the break!
