“Paul Giamatti – I am your father!” -Dustin Hoffman
Rain Man just signed on to play Paul Giamatti's father in BARNEY'S VERSION, a little indie drama based on Mordecai Richler's final novel about a retired cop (Hoffman) who's irresponsible behavior caused him three failed marriages, two kids, and prime suspect status in the mysterious disappearance of this friend.
BARNEY'S VERSION will be adapted by Michael Konyves and directed by Richard J. Lewis. Shooting begins August 17 in Rome.
Side note: It's strange how it's deemed an "indie" film - with little budget - but they're shooting in Rome. If you're a director and reading this, please put me in your indie film!
