Paul Giamatti in talks to join COSMOPOLIS
I've never hidden my love for anything and everything by David Cronenberg, a sentiment that is certainly shared with his upcoming film COSMOPOLIS. Although COSMOPOLIS still has a little while before it goes behind the camera, we are getting a lot of information about the casting of the film.
We already know that Colin Farrell and Marion Cotillard are taking the lead roles, and now it seems Paul Giamatti might also be joining the project.
This is an exciting prospect, as Giamatti is one of the best, most underrated actors out there. Although it can be easy to forget how amazing he is with some of his project choices, roles of his such as JOHN ADAMS prove his acting expertise. With Giamatti on screen and Cronenberg behind the camera, something special is happening here already.
He hasn't been cast in the role just yet, but he is currently in active discussions about the project. It seems likely he might take the role, as it seems to be in the ballpark of the kind of projects he often does. Hopefully this doesn't fall through, as it could be something really amazing.
