Russell Crowe The Equalizer

While I’m not a fan of Paul Haggis, particularly his Oscar winner CRASH, but you do have to admit, his upcoming film THE NEXT THREE DAYS does look to be promising.

Well, Heat Vision is reporting that he and THREE DAYS starrer Russell Crowe may in fact be reteaming, for the long-gestating big screen take on the ‘80s show, The Equalizer.

The outlet is reporting that Haggis is currently in talks to write the film, with a possibility of the filmmaker coming aboard as the film’s director. It will follow an aging man, who is a fixer that hopes to atone for his mysterious past working for “The Company.” The premise sounds like your run-of-the-mill thriller, and with Haggis at the helm, this may not be the most appealing project ever. However, I genuinely like Crowe, so who knows what this film may end up being like. At least one would hope so.
