Paul Rudd may join Tina Fey in ADMISSION
Everyone loves Tina Fey. It's kinda of hard not to, especially when she's playing her quirky self. After appearing in DATE NIGHT, her show 30 Rock is still going strong. Fey is extremely busy and the hit NBC show has been taking up most of her time. Until now.
24 Frames is reporting that Tina Fey will star in the adaptation of ADMISSION from a script penned by Karen Croner and directed by Paul Weitz (ABOUT A BOY, AMERICAN PIE). Until recently, it was thought that Owen Wilson would be starring alongside her, but he was recently replaced with Paul Rudd, whom producers are seeking to fill the role.
The film follows Fey, an unmarried woman who meets a man she went to school with but never had the fortune of getting to know. Well, it turns out he's been harboring some thoughts about her, and possibly a secret as well.
I don't know about you, but that almost sounds more like a thriller than a romantic comedy. Either way, it'll be great to see Fey back on the big screen, and Paul Rudd can make almost any movie downright hilarious, so this is something to keep your eyes on. The film is set to begin shooting in May when 30 Rock wraps up shooting.
