Plot revealed for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES?
I hate to be whoever leaked this information.
Now, while this story appears to be backed by great sources, as with any rumor coming out of the DARK KNIGHT RISES camp, take it with a grain of salt.
According to Badass Digest, a few new plot details for Chris Nolan’s upcoming third Batman film are leaking out, and they confirm quite a few ideas posited by many on the web. If you're ready, check out these supposed plot points after the break.
The film will find Batman fighting the League Of Shadows, led by Talia Al’Ghul and her “muscle/possible love interest” Bane (Tom Hardy). Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be playing a member of this league (Black Mask? Sounds like a distinct possibility), and the film will find Batman having to team with Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) come the film’s conclusion to take out the league.
Again, while this story sounds really solid, just take it with a grain of salt. That said, if this is in fact the case, talk about a great way to cap the trilogy.
Personally, this isn’t all that shocking, particularly the fact that Catwoman and Batman will ultimately team up together near the end. What does this mean for Marion Cotillard’s cameo, though? Is she Talia? Don’t be shocked if that ultimately is the case.
