Posters for IMMORTALS hit
Talk about a way to start the promotional wheels turning.
Thanks to Fandango, we have the first collection of character posters from the upcoming Tarsem-directed telling of the story of Greek warrior Theseus, IMMORTALS.
IMMORTALS follows Theseus, played by Superman himself Henry Cavill who, after being chosen by Zeus, must protect his land and ultimately save the gods, with priestess Phaedra by his side. Co-starring Luke Evans, Stephen Dorff, and the wonderful Freida Pinto, the film is set to hit theaters come November 11.
Personally, as a rather big fan of director Tarsem Singh (or at least his latest film, THE FALL), these posters do definitely get me excited to see the film. Holding in them a lot of notes from Tarsem’s aesthetic, particularly the very linear and rigidly crisp lines within the costume design, these posters may not look like all that much, but they do tell quite a bit about what to truly expect. I’m bummed that there isn’t a Pinto poster, though, but I’m sure that’s on its way.
